Vale Inco
Vale Inco is one of the world’s leading producers of nickel, copper, cobalt and precious metals. There are approximately 3,000 employees located throughout Ontario. In this fast moving and volatile industry, regular communication between offices is absolutely essential.
Challenge
As Vale Inco’s offices expanded from Sudbury to Toronto and beyond, it was no longer possible to walk down the hall and chat with your colleague. Travel wasn’t an option - too many flights put a strain on expenses and productivity.
In order to maintain timely, ongoing communications a reliable, manageable and affordable solution was needed. And with 3,000 employees, it had to be easy to maintain.
Solution
Audability’s Audio Conferencing system has helped keep regular communications flowing for Vale Inco. For end users, the system has made it easy to organize and access phone calls. As Albert Luce, Technical Analyst/Administrator for Vale Inco. “For me, no news is good news. If no one is calling me and telling me they have a problem, I know it’s working.”
Managing a system of this magnitude can be an overwhelming task. Audability’s advanced Self-Serve option makes it simple. Changes that used to take hours can be made internally in minutes. And if support is required, Audability is there when needed.
“They’re very responsive,” said Albert. “If I need anything, they get back to me right away. And they really know their stuff. They branded our communications, organized a simplified billing and tracking system, and made the entire process manageable for us.”
“We’ve been working with Audability for three years now, and I’m still impressed with their knowledge, service and technology. I’ve recommended them to others, and will continue to do so.”
